Mini Canvas Kids Christmas Ornaments

If you are looking for a last minute kids Christmas craft, look no further! These mini canvas ornaments are easy to make and make great keepsakes or gifts for grandparents. The best part is that kids of all ages can make one! Both my 2 year old and 7 year old had a blast making these and they turned out equally as adorable. I got this idea because awhile ago, my girls made giant versions of these painted letter canvases. It’s one of the most popular projects on my blog to date. Everything is cuter in miniature form, so I decided to try using the same method to make some canvas kids Christmas ornaments!

Easy DIY Ombre Snowflake Canvases

I love the snow! I know that some of you who are sitting in snow covered areas are laughing at me here in snowless Atlanta – but seriously, I do. And I always end up living in areas where there is no snow . . . what is that about? Well, I’ve figured out a way to have snow in my abode all year round – with these DIY ombre snowflake canvases. Just painting canvases one color wasn’t going to work for me, which is why I went for the ombre effect. Even though these canvases just give the snow idea without actual snow, I’m still going to have the hot chocolate. Is that okay?

DIY Notebook Sewn Canvas Tote Bag

A couple weeks ago before we left for Hawaii my intern and I spent a good part of the week reorganizing the craft room to make room for the baby and so I could finally find glue when I need it. Some blank canvas totes resurfaced in the process (from my series of DIY canvas tote tutorials I did last year) and it got me thinking again about them. I thought making a notebook sewn tote would be the perfect back to school project for the fall.
